Darren's Birthday

Months ago Darren mentioned that he'd like a rootbeer tasting party, so I found 8 different kinds/brands of rootbeer and poured them into shot glasses. All the party goers guessed which kind was which and which one they liked the best.Darren's birth mom, Jeanette, came to celebrate with us. Valene, Darren, and Jeanette toasting to another great year to come!
I wasn't about to attempt a over-sized rootbeer float cake, so I e-mailed different rootbeer slogans to the local bakery and they copied them onto edible paper. It turned out fun....Happy 29th buddy!
Where ever there are candles to be blown, Breanne comes running with her cheeks full of air. Make a wish Daddy!
The guitar Santa brought him over a year ago still sits in his closet covered with a warm, comforting layer of dust. But the desire to strum the guitar still lives, so I bought him Guitar Hero (complete with two guitars for competition mode) for his birthday. We stay up 'til mid-night strumming away like Aerosmith.

Oh~ You don't know how happy this makes me!!! If you could only see the smile on my face as I "Clicked" on your Tara and Darren link with the belief that once again I would see the same old Blog Page that burns into my monitor but never changes..... But then like a mesmerizing and monumentus mouthwatering magic miracle!!! It did!!! OH the JOY!

Now enough about that~ =) It looks great! What a fun Birthday! I can't believe Darren is 29!?!? He still seems like the Baby of the family. Is he getting skinnier? It looks like it~ I guess if I had to be in a B-suit in Hawaii (not his Birthday Suit now~ bathing), I might loose some too~ or not! =) Well as it is getting very late here and I am rambling in excitement, I should bring this to an end. And I still need to post something elts on your other post, as I am so excited and have been in withdrawals for so long!!! You are very popular, as you have had 12 or 13 hits in just the last day~ See what you have been missing?!?! And it looks as if I was the last in the family to know that you had updated, if that is what we are calling this miracle!

Love ya- Gent & Nikki
